AVG Persistent Message "Database is out of date"

Double check your TIME and DATE.  I had this error and found out my computer date was a whole month off.  How this happened I have no idea, but changing it solved the out of date problem. Hover over the time which is usually on your task bar; it will show you the date.  Double click it and you can change the date.  If this is not the cause of your problem go to the AVG forum for other ideas.
